She is incredibly shy and silent, a very determined Chuunin level Taijutsu user, a member of Yuhi Kurenai's Team 8 and a cousin of Neji Hyuga. She possesses the Kekkei Genkai Byakugan and master of the Juken, or "Gentle Fist", fighting style, giving her field of vision of almost 360° and is able to damage her opponent's chakra circulatory system and inner organs directly with even the slightest tap. She has a crush on Naruto of which the second is completely unaware. One of the most famous scene from the Manga Anime series which features Hinata Hyuga was when Team 8 was sent to a special mission together with Naruto, to seek and catch a Bikochu, ("Faint smell bug" or "scent bug"), a bug known for it's great tracking ability. During one night of the mission, Naruto woke up to relieve his bladder and caught his attention to a nearby waterfall by a naked girl performing a sort of swirling dance, making the water splash in an orb around her.
